Yes, bring your Potluck Offerings. But Jan’s flipping grilled cheese sandwiches (maybe accessorized with our storehouse of bacon). And please be pondering about moments in life when you’ve felt forsaken. We’ll be releasing them via the Wailing Wall (actually a Wailing Cross) this Sunday. “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Old Town Alexandria
Ok! So we’ve been bottled in with Snow, Snow and more Snow, and a little bout with cold rainy days… It’s now time to get out and enjoy what should be a mild sunny Saturday and here’s what I’m thinking!
“The St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Old Town Alexandria on March 6, 2010 kicks off the holiday. The event includes a dog show with judging for everything from the smallest dog to the dog and master who look most alike. The parade begins at 12:30 p.m. with the best bagpipers around. Details – There is a Classic Car Show at 10am and the dog show is at 10:30. What I’m thinking about, is getting down there by 11:30 and finding a place to hang out, watch the parade, enjoy the sun, then grab lunch!
