Time & Location

We gathering at various times throughout the week (check out the calendar for details).

Holy Grounds usually meets at around 6pm (though people often tend to start gather around 5:45 to have some time to catch up before we start) on Sundays in the Lower Level of Fairlington Presbyterian (3846 King St, Alexandria, VA). Our Sunday evening gathering each week is different: sometimes we have discussions, other times we have someone give a talk, sometimes we watch a film clip, sometimes there’s drama or art, and sometimes we even go out to worship through service to others.  Though the content and medium may change each week, we seek to continually be a community where people feel welcome and open to share and seek God together.

During Lent, we’ve been taking a tour through the parables of Jesus with a lunch study. Rather than our usual evening services, we are meeting at 12:30 (bring your own lunch) on Sunday afternoon in our usual place. At the conclusion of Lent, we will celebrate Easter with a sunrise service in Oronco Bay Park in Old Town Alexandria.
